Yes! I visited this island again after 6 years. And I don’t regret it at all:)!

It was actually a spontaneous trip booked 3 weeks before the departure. I see the flight, I like it, I want it, I got it:D (like Ariana sings). We stayed in a lovely hotel in Kamari right next to the beach. Kamari beach is famous for its unique black sand and crystal clear water. We went at the end of July but the sea was a bit too wavy, supposedly because of the storm few days before. Other than that, there is honestly nothing bad I can say about this place. Great customer service everywhere you go, delicious food, rich variety of activities to choose from and the long promenade next to the beach makes Kamari the ultimate tourist spot for sure:).

You have probably seen thousands of pics like this on Instagram, but Santorini views never get boring, believe me! We started off our day early in the morning in Fira (no crowds at all). We had breakfast with the view (greek yoghurt with chia seeds, fruit and frappuccino of course). We continued and admired the views along the cliffs watching the sun come up. As you can see on the pics, I picked an outfit absolutely matching the vibe of Santorini. Light blue top and skirt:). Oh, how much I looove this island aesthetics!

In the evening, we visited Oia (30 mins drive by bus from Kamari). They say that sunset in Oia is to die for and they are correct. The words cannot describe the beauty of it, especially when you are with someone you truly love…
Oia can get a little too crowded later in a day so I would suggest visiting Santorini off the season (May or September). Every little corner looks pretty here. All the houses, streets, shops and churches correspond with the white and blue architecture decorated by flower trees. 3-4 days are enough to see and enjoy it all on the island:)

Next day, we went on a boat trip to the volcano opposite the island called Nea Kameni. The boat stops at the thermal spring where you can swim for a while and then takes you to the volcano. The hike up takes around 30 mins (it’s hot as hell in July so bring a hat). There is a crater and you can smell sulphur a bit but it belongs to the experience. There is not much to see here, except the rocks but the views are still breathtaking (I wish I could come up with a different word:).
Last but not least, I must give you a fashion advice when visiting Santorini. You can never go wrong with the white comfy sandals and a little cross-body bag that fits a small bottle and goes with everything. I chose a royal blue satin dress for evening in Oia, light blue matchy top and skirt for Fira, white tee and black shorts for the hike and white madeira dress for the beachwalk. Of course, don’t forget to accessorize yourself. Blue is good:)…

I hope you liked this pretty little post and keep checking those flights, girl:)! ,,There is no time to be blue in Santorini… ”
Until the next destination,
Lots of Love,
