❄️🇸🇰🤍High Tatras: Welcome to the Winter Wonderland

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!🌨

This Christmas/ winter song has been on my mind ever since we came here. Even though, I absolutely love summer holidays abroad and lying on the beach, the older I get, the more I appreciate fresh air and never ending walks in the mountains.

Me and my family organized a spontaneous 4- day trip to the east of Slovakia and I am so excited to be here. When I was a child, we used to come here every summer because of a small cottage in Slovak paradise (National park). I remember that feeling of freedom, breathtaking views and the smell of wood everywhere.

But back to the present🙋🏻‍♀️… Slovakia is a heart of Europe and Tatras belong to the most beautiful places in the area. Its highest peaks became a national symbol and attract more and more tourists every year.

I truly cannot find a better description than WINTER WONDERLAND❄️🤍☃️. Look at the pictures and see for yourself. (Location: Strbske pleso, Vysoke Tatry)We stayed in the Hotel Lesnica*** (Slovak paradise) which is around 40km from High Tatras. The panorama on the way looks beautiful and I am sure that all the mountain lovers out there will love this area as much as I do. The mentioned National park (Slovak paradise) is the most visited in the summer but also very magical during winter time. Choose hiking or wellness, it does not matter. If you live in a big polluted city like me, you will definitely appreciate the fresh air, views and atmosphere🇸🇰🌲🌞.

Short spontaneous trips are the best and this one has been great so far😍🥰 … And because I consider this blog to be my personal travel diary, I wanted to share it with you guys so thank you for stopping by😘.

I hope you are having a wonderful time with your loved ones and until next time:

Have an amazing 2020!✨✨✨

🇭🇺🎄❤️Beautiful Budapest

Hello everyone🙋🏻‍♀️!

Are you guys ready for Christmas? Well, I certainly am. All the baking and wrapping is done (my two favourite activities of the year). I was so excited to go back home🇸🇰 for Christmas after 3 years of living in London and even though I love my country, it is nice to see the magical atmosphere somewhere else as well. Budapest is very close to Bratislava (from where I come from) but I never really had a chance to explore this city so I came up with the idea to go there just for 2 days with my family.

I have also visited Prague, Vienna and Bratislava before Christmas but none of them impressed me as much as Budapest. It truly is a beautiful place with many historical buildings, delicious food and breathtaking views.

So let’s dive into it!

1. Stop: New York café

This place has been on my itinerary for a while. It is the oldest and most beautiful café in Budapest and I can see why. It looks like a palace from a movie about Sissi the Empress (if you know what I mean). Live music, amazing food and high ceiling with golden details look absolutely stunning! Waiting time is around 5-10 mins depending on the day and prices vary from 10€ per coffee to 25€ meal. We tried traditional dessert Somloy and chocolate cake. Yummy, yummy, yummy🍰☕️! After the sweet treat and tons of photos, we moved a bit further…

2. Stop: Christmas markets (Fashion street)

Hungary is well- known for their traditional cuisine. Goulash soup, lángos, sausage or wine, you can find it all at the christmas markets in the city centre. There is also a big choice of souvenirs and hand-made products of great quality so you can explore and shop at the same time. (Christmas markets are situated at many different locations therefore I would recommend spending more time here and visit as much as possible.)

3. Stop: Chain bridge

The oldest bridge in Budapest with majestic lion monuments near each entrance takes you to the other part of Danube. It is a nice 10-15 min walk and you can see the whole promenade with the House of Parliament, St. Stephen’s basilica and all the other historic buildings.

4. Stop: Fisherman’s bastion

A must-see for sure! You might actually know this place from Instagram. Seing this was definitely my favourite part of the trip. The ancient chambers look amazing and you can see the whole city from up above. The picturesque St. Mathias church with the colourful roofs and gothic architecture belongs to the national cultural heritage.

5. City centre: Christmas markets in the evening

Just a quick dinner, punch and sleep time in the lovely apartment on Rakoczi utca. We managed to see all the places from my list in 1 day so it is time to relax and chill in the spa for little bit😍.

Bubble wafer and other sweetsSt. Stephen’s basilica

I wish you all a wonderful Christmas, enjoy time with your families and step into the New Year with optimism, health and

INSTA TRAVEL GUIDE: Christmassy London🎄✨🇬🇧

Hello everyone💁🏻‍♀️!

I am finally back in London and guess what! It is looking absolutely stunning this year🤩🤩🤩 and I honestly don’t think there is any other better time to visit the city than now (end of November/ first half of December). Consider this a little London Christmas guide where I’ll share some of the most beautiful places to see!

But first things first:

DURATION– You need approximately 2-3 days to visit all of the places mentioned below. I definitely recommend not to hurry and enjoy this amazing atmosphere outside.

WEATHER– It has heen little bit chilly recently but quite dry (which is not very common for London) so winter jacket is essential for sure and pair of knitted gloves should do as well🧤.

STAY– I think that any airbnb in the zones 1,2 or even 3 is fine. Travelling by tube or even walking through the city is very simple and well marked. The quality of accomodation depends on the price of course but if you are only visiting for a few days and spend most of the time outside anyway, it is kind of okay not to have a luxurious room, right?

EAT/ DRINK– When it comes to food and drinks, I suggest going to the cafés like Starbucks/Costa/ Pret-a-Manger and not just because of the affordable prices but also because you can warm yourself up a bit, relax and enjoy a nice hot chocolate with marshmallows or delicious local cakes. If you are looking for an INSTA place, I definitely recommend Peggy Porschen cakes (Belgravia), Elan cafe (Brompton road) or Saint Aymes (Covent garden). These places literally scream for a great insta shoot and some £££.

1. Oxford street/ Regent street/ Bond street

This area is probably the most crowded before Christmas due to the many shops but the most iconic decorations are actually here and they change every year. Definitely a must-go!This shopping mall between Regent street and Bond street looks like a huge advent calendar and is sooo cute!🎄✨.You can find some stunning archways on the way as well but unfortunately they are closed every night so try to come during the day and catch a good light! Bond street is a place where every high designer has a chance to show what they are made of. It is literally a Christmas decor fight this season and Stella McCartney chose to go with these beautiful neon lights! How creative! All I want for Christmas is: to pose here just like every insta friend visiting London. This is definitely my favourite building! Wrapped like a present, Cartier totally nailed it!❤️Regent street/ Oxford street: These decorations are slightly different every year but create a magical atmosphere. The cute little restaurant (picture below) behind Victoria’s secret shop on New Bond street screams for a shot and is also a nice romantic place to have a dinner or evening cocktail.

2. Winter wonderland

The most stunning and alive place in London before Christmas is always Winter wonderland starting around the 20th of November. You will find every possible attraction, candy, meal or drink here from all around the world. It looks the best at night but get ready for masses of people at the entrance. Winter wonderland is another must-see and you surely need a couple of hours to actually stroll around and see everything. My advice is just to not try to win an unwinable game🤦🏻‍♀️😂 and just eat till you drop!

3. Covent garden/ Chelsea

I actually did not have a chance to go and visit the places this year due to a very busy work schedule but as a big insta-fan, I have seen many many pictures from here and I am sharing some shots of my favourite bloggers instead.

So I guess that is kind of all my loves, I hope you liked it and if you haven’t visited London, you will after reading this post. It is truly a magical city especially now and I am so blessed to be living here for over 2 years💁🏻‍♀️🇬🇧.

Have an amazing week, don’t stress too much about Christmas. Rest, bake and wrap✨✨✨!

My TOP 10 beauty products

It is finally Friyaaay!!! How are you guys doing? It has been a long week for me so I couldn´t be happier about the upcoming weekend. It is the last one here in Switzerland but I will just probably stay home, do some packing and chill… Anyway, I have a little confession to make: I have been cheating on beauty with travelling these past few months and it makes me feel so sad cause I really love makeup, skin care and all that good stuff. That is why I want to focus on beauty and fashion more on my blog:). So here we are: MY TOP 10 favourite products of the year (only 10?). They are all affordable, great quality, available online or in stores and pink of course… (Yup, pink obsession is still strongly on!)1. Skin care first: Garnier Rose soothing water– it is vegan, dermatologically tested, 96% natural ingredients and it leaves your skin soft, clean and radiant. I use it on a daily basis and I can already see some improvement especially with m pores. 2. It goes well with the Rose moisturizing cream from the same edition. It smells beautiful just like the fresh pink roses actually and it makes my skin look matte which is great (cause I have a very oily/problematic/sensitive skin).3./4. Another little treasure of mine are these cute nail polishes. Even though Essence and Flormar are just regular drugstore brands I looove the colour and quality of them so much. Essence Shine and Go shade 30 get ready is a really nice candy pink colour and Flormar Full color in the shade Wrap your beloved is a bright neon pink perfect for warmer seasons.5. Another obsession is definitely this perfume pen from ZARA Black Peony. It smells better than the bouquet of flowers (peonies have always been my favourites). The scent is very feminine, sweet and strong at the same time (but not that strong to get a headache). The packaging is compact and easy to take whenever you go… 100 points to ZARA for making this!6. Mario Badescu facial spray with aloe, herbs and rosewater is one of those things you never want to run out of. The mist was definitely love at the first sight. I use it all the time, whether I want to refresh my makeup during the day or simply hydrate the skin at the beach, it is perfect anytime, anywhere… And it smells soooo yummy! Also cruelty free, paraben free, great for sensitive skin too. What else can you ask for? Oh, I know… It costs less than 10$ online:D7. I have been talking about NUXE dry oils for years now but I still use them and each and every one of them is simply a must-have. This shimmery one is perfect for a bronzey look in the summer (or actually anytime). It is a multi- purpose product for face, hair and body. It consists of 7 precious botanical oils, it is 100% natural and costs around 20$ on their website. Hurry up to get yours! I am sure you will love it as much as I do!8./9. Same old same old, I know… I just cannot help it, I have been using KYLIE cosmetics liquid lipsticks for over 2 years now and they are my everyday go-to faves. I tried many different ones from the collection and all of them are great. Long lasting, vegan and affordable! We all get why is she a billionaire right? The shades Boy Bye and Angel are pinkish/nude/purpley shades which go with everything, I swear! The best lipsticks on market for sure!

10. Last but not least, I want to talk about Maybelline mascara LASH sensational (the first picture on the blog post). I tried it for the first time 6 months ago and I love it so so so much. It has a very small brush with 10 little bristles which creates a full fan effect (that is what the original description says). It thickens the eyelashes but it is still easily washable which is great. It costs just around 10$ and you can find it in every drugstore. That is all from my little beauty talk. Thank you so much for reading… I hope it was helpful and you learned something new as well:).

Take care, makeup and until next time,

💙🇨🇭❤️Road trip: Interlaken, Iseltwald, Meiringen, Lauterbrunnen

Guten Tag my lovely readers!

Today, I am going to tell you about our weekend trip to the German part of Switzerland. It was just about time to visit the most typical place of this country: ALPS. Just a little warning at the beginning: this post has a looot of blue content:)!Does this scenery not look like a wallpaper? But first things first… We (guess who I went with) left Lausanne (my temporary home) around 8.30 in the morning. It takes less than 2 hours to get to Interlaken and it is a nice chilled highway road. The forecast was not too optimistic but God or whoever up there heard our prayers out and the weather was actually lovely. I realized how much I love autumn and all of these colours around…When we arrived to Interlaken, the first thing I noticed was an amazing fresh mountain air and this wooden statue. Interlaken is a traditional resort town lying between lakes Thunersee and Brienzersee. Just look at the pictures! Is this not the most turquoise water you have ever seen? No filter, nothing, I swear! If it was summer, I would just jump in for sure…Posing because why not?We had a little walk near the lake, took gazillion photos and hit the road once again to our next destination…At least that is what we thought and then I spotted this…7c148675-050d-43f9-af8b-4a27138dd0de-1The mountains in the back truly look like painted by an artist which brings me to the fact that Mother Nature is the biggest artist… No doubt about that. And as a huge donkey lover, I had to stop by and feed this cutie pie with some apple. One of the saddest and most misused animals in the world, don´t you think?Few more shots because these colours are just unbelievable…One more sick/ill/tired smile… (Yeah, I forgot to mention that 2 days before this trip, I went for a run and due to the colder weather my body really did not enjoy it and gave me a lesson once again.)And let´s go finally!Next stop: Iseltwald, just 10 mins from Interlaken. It is a municipality on the shore of Lake Brienz (which had a similar colour of water actually), it is also a popular tourist destination especially in the winter. Just a few hotels, restaurants, friendly locals and a statue of goral again:).Then we visited Aare Gorge in Meiringen. And here we come! Aare Gorge is a river gorge with icy blue water which was created around 15,000 years ago just at the end of Ice age… Isn´t that wonderful? It is a 3 km nice walk with a slippery surface but the views are so worth it, just take good shoes!I guess I do not even have to comment on this, go and see for yourself:). I kept thinking about how canthe nature actually create this every second of this experience. The price of the ticket is 9CHF which is actually quite reasonable. There is also a little restaurant and shop in case you want to refresh yourself or get a souvenir.I am so glad I could see this place. Honestly, it is a must-see of Switzerland. I found it on Instagram few weeks ago and added to my map immediately. Do you also put a flag everywhere you want to go or already been? Well, it is my current obsession:). It just looks so organized and clear for a travel addict like me…Last but not least, we visited Lauterbrunnen. It is a village surrounded by mountains, perfect for people who love hiking, skiing and all that good stuff. Those beautiful white peaks in the back are Alps and even though I really wanted to touch the snow that day, it was just way too far and unreachable by car. What I think was way better than Alps is definitely this romantic waterfall and walk underneath. And the view from there… Not a big village, is it? Still very magical though…Staubbach Fall drops almost 300 metres from a hanging valley and it is definitely not the only one. This area is well-known for waterfalls flowing all the way from the iceberg peaks.

And we are getting to the end of this road trip. I loooooved all the places so much… I can honestly say that I explored the most of Swiss beauty now. How about you? Have you ever been here or planning to? Let me know, please:)! I am always keen on hearing your suggestions, stories, plans, destinations and all that good stuff. That is all my loves, I hope you enjoyed this little virtual trip with me and just to let you know, I am staying here (in Swiss) for another 2 weeks and then back to my beloved London:). Thank you for stopping by and talk to you very soon!

Carli Bybel Anastasia Beverly hills palette review

Happy Monday to all the pink lovers out there!

I recently bought this beautiful eyeshadow palette (www.anastasiabeverlyhills.co.uk £46) so if you want to know more, here is my opinion:).

This product has been promoted a lot in the past months on the social media and as soon as I saw it, I had to have it (not like I need it)… I really loved the first eyeshadow collection from Carli Bybel the Deluxe palette (BH cosmetics) and I still use it on every day basis. And once again, I am not disappointed! The formula is highly pigmented especially the shimmery shades. The application is smooth, blending as well and you can go from very neutral every day makeup look to an evening occassion one. The variety of shades is just unique!

Also, it is totally worth the money cause you get 14 shades plus the brush all in a cute packaging. img_7894The brush has both sides but I personally prefer using my fingers for a thick shimmery eyeshadow application, well anyway, it is quite good for blending though and creating the crease on the eyes. I would rate the brush 7/10. The first 7 shades have more of a cool undertone (BOLI, BYBEL, MANDALA, LIBRA, JODE, OA, BOIE). There are 4 matte shades and 3 shimmerry pigments. I personally really like the purplish/pearl one called MANDALA. The first one from the left can also be used as a  highlighter or the eyeshadow base. The quality is so good, the matte ones don´t look too powdery and the pressed pigments are not sticky at all. The other half of the palette is my favourite! I love all the warm shades, they are easily combined, neutral and great for summer/autumn season. The names are: BEAR, MOO, CHAI, CINDY, STEV, AURA and MY ANGELS. As Carli explained in her video, most of the names are her cat´s names or nicknames of her family members. My top shade is the rose gold pigment MOO (the second from left). It makes my eyes look more awake, dewy, glowy and this shade goes with any outfit, I swear! When it comes to packaging, it is so pretty you just want to put it on a shelf as a decorative piece and never touch it again. It can also be a nice statement on a dressing table/beauty corner. Loooove it so much and not just because it is pink. The pearls have a 3D glittery structure which is super cool and rose gold writing and details add a bit of fancy vibe too. 11/10 for sure:DDD. Great job Carli x Anastasia!I can´t wait to create some mesmerizing shimmery looks with this palette. It definitely is a must-have! More about beauty and fashion is coming soon (as soon as I am back in London, hopefully) so keep checking out my blog! Thanks for reading and talk to you again soon.

Cotton candy beach huts🍡💗

Hi guys, I hope you are having a nice and calm Sunday cause I am not:D. Just came back from London where I only spent 2 quick days seing my boo. Time passes extremely fast when you are happy/ travel and explore new places…

This weekend, we decided to go to Mersea island (2 hour drive from London). To be honest, I only know this place from Instagram but it is really as pretty as the pics. These pastel houses are literally the cutest/doll/candy/ insta call them whatever you want. Each one is original and yet similar. The strong wind made it almost impossible to take a good pic even though it was quite warm and sunny for October. The beach was absolutely empty so we took a nice walk.I could not take my eyes off them… Super lovely! You just want to eat them/ live there like a doll.Which one is your favourite:)?All smiley cause I found my pink paradise:).I did not really know what to wear cause my closet is kind of in the boxes at the moment but I knew it had to be pink:). So this pastel cardigan with the bird pattern (H&M) made me merge with the surrounding. (Light pink leather boots DEICHMANN)This is my fave pic… I can´t even guess how many of them there is.When on beach…If you are looking for a day trip outside London, Mersea island is a great place. You can also find there beautiful countryside, beaches, parks and all that good stuff. More from the weekend on the blog very very soon:).

Until then,

Château- d’Oex: The cutest village of Vaud❤️

Hi guys🙋🏻‍♀️!

Thank you so much for reading another of my travel posts✈️🌍. I have been wandering around a lot recently and I can’t wait to share my thoughts about the place I visited last week. Without any further delay, let’s get into it!5/10/19 Saturday, Lausanne: National park- Parc Gruyére had been on my bucket list for a while but I wasn´t sure where exactly to go… And then my other half came and decided instead of me so we just put the name Chateau d´Oex in the GPS and hit the road… It took us less than 2 hours to get there from Lausanne and the landscapes we saw on the way were simply breathtaking. As soon as we reached the park, the air changed, cows appeared and that moment, I knew I saw the real Switzerland:)…We stopped to see this little waterfalls and an amazing turqouise lake on the way. Look at that colour of the lake! Maldives can be really ashamed!A bit personal but cute smiley pic of me and my love/ travel buddy… We just loved this trip from the beginning to an end.One thing I always notice when travelling is the architecture and these wooden cottages really got under my skin. I just wanted to photograph them and admire. So pretty, isn´t it?For those of you who didn´t know, the first hot-air balloon flight around the world started its journey in this village and took 20 days. They flew almost 43,000 km. Absolutely marvellous!Back to our trip… In the middle of the village, there is a small church on a hill with a fountain and a cute squirrel sculpture. And a clock tower of course. This is a view from the area around the church. So picturesque, you want to stay there and live!Fog in the back but smile on a face…The weather was not the best, it was raining almost every 10 minutes but we wanted to go up up up up…Except the many cows we saw, there were also huge grasslands. I guess I am not the only one who compares the shade of green anywhere I go, but this green was just (OH MY) sooo pretty green! Does that sound weird? Anyway, we walked for an hour or so and admired the surrounding.Another traditional wooden cottage.Due to the windy and rainy weather, we couldn´t get to the peak of the mountain but we did lovely 15km which was accurate for a 1 day trip. Later, we had a lunch in one of the local restaurants, visited the tourist centre/ souvenir shop and went back home in the afternoon. I honestly loved all about this place, so calm, peaceful and pretty… I cannot wait to go hiking this weekend as well. There is so much to see here…

I hope you have a chance to visit Switzerland one day because it really is a magical place… Two months here and I am in love… I say it often right? Well, that is a destiny of a travel addict, I guess😃.

Take care, enjoy your life and until next time

Italy roadtrip: Part 3- Cinque Terre

🇮🇹💚🙋🏻‍♀️Cinque Terre is mostly known for the perfect insta pics but what is it really like? I went and found out for myself. Sadly, I have to admit, it is a bit overcrowded and quite expensive but I still enjoyed seing it:).img_4471Cinque Terre is actually a national park and consists of 5 lovely seaside villages: Riomaggiore, Manarola, Vernazza, Monterosso and Corniglia. We only managed to see 2 of them because of the ridiculous parking and lack of time. img_4467Seing Liguria had been my dream for a few years and I couldn´t wait to visit this place. Unfortunately, when you are too excited about something, it never ends up well. img_4466What you see on Instagram is probably just a photoshop or very old pictures from the times when it was not popular but reality is a bit different. img_4470img_4474Do not come with a car, chance to park is almost impossible so it is better to take a train or just walk from one village to another. Also, do not come in the summer, there is way too much people and the experience is definitely not the same when you have to fight for a seat in a restaurant or beach or simply take a nice picture. img_4478For those of you who know me, I have an obsession with colorful houses so I enjoyed that part a lot:).img_4541Pink ones are the best of course…img_4518img_4547Most of them look old but it only adds to the magic of this place.img_4468Italy is a religious country so church in every village is inevitable.img_4479Streets are full of tourists since early morning (locals must be very excited about that:D).img_4485img_4544You can try a delicious tiramisu or even fish and chips like we did. Prices aredefinitely  higher than in the other parts of Italy but one must eat, I suppose…img_4469Gardens, vineyards and these views…img_4551Vernazzaimg_4490Not very sandy beaches…img_4494Manarolaimg_4493One insta pic… @bylesileeimg_4491img_4507Looking like a pink candy cotton:Dimg_4548img_4487This cat really got me.img_4506Hair in the air…img_4502My favourite view…img_4490Overall, I am very glad I could visit Cinque Terre and tick off my bucket list. Despite of all the tourists, there is still some magic left. Italy is a wonderful country and this is one of the must-see places. Just not in the summer… img_4494I am planning to publish much more from our trip so stay tuned if you like it, alright? Thank you so much for reading and until next time: take care, enjoy your daily adventures and…

🙋🏻‍♀️😘Hello my beautiful friends,

(Just a quick post from 🇫🇷France…)

Last weekend, we spent in Evian which is a little village opposite Lausanne (where I live now). You can get a ferry from Ouchy (it only takes 35 mins) and spend the whole day strolling around. Evian is not big at all but there are few lovely places worth to see.The first stop was a shop right next to the natural Evian spring called Cachat. They do personalized bottles and have a big variety of Evian and different flavours. I did a little shopping as well 😍😃 (obviously)…Happy and hydrated, we went to see the spring. You can see the original one on the picture below (it is closed at the moment due to renovation works being done). But you can still see the beautiful light pink fountain and the spring just at the other side of the square. 💕💕💕Yeeeah, it is all pastel pink!!!This fountaine is so pretty (the female represents a typical Evian logo). The original spring inside a bar.The main street is full of cafés, restaurants and I can definitely recommend a lovely bakery (don’t remember the name) near the pharmacy. We had a little snack there and dinner a bit later at one of the local restaurants. There is one thing Italy, Spain and France have in common. Colourful houses!❤️🧡💛💚💙💜Obviously, I wanted to buy Evian with my name on it but it would take couple of days for the customised order to arrive into the store so I just got this one that says the most beautiful thing:For all the insta queens, Evian has its own hashtag #evian❤️ (this is right next to the lake promenade)It probably takes a while to get from the port to the end of the village through this beautiful romantic promenade so we only walked a bit. And took some original pics on the way…Every little corner looks so aesthetically pleasing… The French really take care of the area.My favourite building in the town: Ancient spa. After a little walk, it is time for a drink…Pink spring! You can come here and get as much water as you want, it tastes sooo good and it is free! Evian 4eveeeer! (The picture below: Evian logo)Ancient spa with 4 different natural springs. It looks stunning and this place is used as a beautiful gallery now. We did not have time to go inside but I think the entrance was fascinating enough. One romantic mirror selfie at the end💑… (Evian ancient spa)

Thank you so much for stopping by and I really hope you enjoyed reading about my experience in Evian.

Until next time,

Lots of love,
